Dove Shampoo and Conditioner

I’m terrible at sticking to shampoos and conditioners – I always love to try new ones and get the best results for my hair.

My hair is quite dry, and has a natural wave to it that is less noticeable the longer my hair gets. It can be quite tangly and gets frizzy if I don’t use an oil or hair mask regularly.

For this reason, I usually try to find oil-based shampoos and conditioners, as they add the necessary moisture that my hair always seems to be craving.

I was really happy to see that Dove had released an oil based shampoo and conditioner for their Advanced Hair Series range. They are designed for dull, dry hair and created with precious oil that smooths hair for optimum silkiness.

With a claim to have all of these benefits and still be non-greasy, I couldn’t resist giving these a try. Having completely finished both bottles, I think it’s safe to say I really enjoyed these products. They leave my hair super soft, and act as a de-tangler too which is great as I don’t like to overload my hair with product.

I definitely got through the conditioner more quickly than the shampoo, but I usually find this to be the way. The conditioner is so smooth and beautiful that I can’t get enough of it.

They are quite heavily scented, but I personally enjoy this in my hair products. They don’t smell floral or fruity – more like a spa or salon which is lovely.

I would highly recommend these if you have dry hair like me – they would probably be a bit heavy if you hair is naturally greasy, but if you find it difficult to quench your hair’s ever growing need for moisture, definitely give these a try!
